INGREDIENTS :
Whole grain bread - 6
Red Onion - 1
Tomato - 2
Green Chillies - 3
Channa dal - 1 tsp
Mustard and Jeera - 1 tsp each
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Curry and Coriander leaves
Salt to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION :
1) Cut bread to small cubes .
2) Sprinkle little water to it and add chilli powder , turmeric powder and salt to it . Mix it well in a bowl.
3) Leave aside for 5 minutes.
4)Then , fry them in a hot kadai with a spoon of oil . Make sure , it doen't turns roasted/brown.
5) Once done , leave it aside .
6) Meanwhile , heat oil in a pan . Once hot , add mustard , jeera , split chillies , curry leaves and channa dal . Saute till channa dal is roasted well.
7) Then , add finely chopped onion and saute till tender .

Add tomatoes and mix it well with all the powders and salt. Tomatoes must be cooked well .
9) Once done , simmer to slow flame . Add the fried bread pieces to it and mix it well . Leave in flame for 5 minutes , continuously mixing it up . Only then , bread will take up the masala flavour .
Once done , garnish it with Coriander leaves
