The first book I would love to share is Kurunji Malar.
This book is very special to me because it was gifted by my favorite senior during my school days as my 13th birthday present. Along with the gift, she made me promise that I would finish reading it within 13 days.
And yes 😀 I kept that promise. 😊
As I read through the pages, I slowly fell in love with the story… and especially with the protagonist, Aravindhan. He became my first fictional crush 🥰  a character whose simplicity, dignity, and depth stayed with me long after I finished the book.
That was the moment I realized how deeply books can touch our hearts and shape our thoughts.
Now, let me share the details of this beautiful novel.

Book Title:
Kurinji Malar (குறிஞ்சி மலர்)

Book Author:
Na. Parthasarathy

Take Away Message:
The novel teaches that self-respect, education,
and strong values give a person the strength to face life’s hardships.
True dignity comes from character, not circumstances.

Short Explanation (Spoiler-free):
Kurinji Malar tells the story of a young woman
(Poorani)  whose life changes suddenly after the death of her father and
how she grows through her inner strength.
The novel blends emotions with social realities and
highlights human values beautifully.

Genre:
Social Fiction / Historical Fiction

Why I Recommend It:
This book leaves a deep impact by showing how
quiet strength, integrity, and humanity can shape a person’s life
even in the most difficult situations.
Kurunji Malar reminds us that

love is not a moment of attraction,
but a lifelong choice  of commitment,
responsibility, and growing together.
Real love creates strength, not weakness.

Hi everyone, here comes my next book recommendation : PONVILANGU 🪙.
This novel holds a special place in my heart because it was part of my Tamil literature syllabus during my school days. 😅
Because of that, this book is closely associated with my school memories.💕
Let’s take a closer look at this novel.

Book Title
Ponvilangu🪙

Book Author
Na.Parthasarathy

Take Away Message
This novel emphasizes emotional maturity, personal integrity, and ethical strength while navigating love and professional responsibilities.
Simple message with big impact 😉

Short Explanation - Spoiler free
Ponvilangu revolves around the lives of Mohini, Bharathi, and Sathyamoorthy, presenting a subtle triangular emotional journey. The story portrays melodious love, silent one-sided affection, and inner conflicts, while also reflecting workplace politics within the education sector.
With realism and emotional restraint, the novel balances personal relationships and professional struggles. I would say the Novel also strongly emphasize why trust is the foundation of any relationship.

Genre
Social Fiction

Why I Recommend It:
I recommend this novel because readers can easily connect themselves with the story and its characters. You will never feel bored while reading it.
The love portrayed will make you smile and blush, while the life challenges faced by the characters will leave you feeling emotionally heavy.
It is a perfectly balanced, emotionally rich story that  truly deserves a place on your must read list.

Sollukkum ninaippukkum endha idaththil porul mudigiratho, angedhaan unarchchi pirakkirathu. Andha unarchchiyai solvatharku sariyana baashai edhuvum illai.
My favorite line in the Novel ♥️
