Two minutes takeaways !

A Society That Grew, but Lost Good Behavior

In the past, Tamil Nadu had a proud culture in its social and political life. Leaders like Periyar, Anna, and Kalaignar spoke to people who, even with little education, listened quietly, respectfully, and with self-control. They would hear the speech, share their thoughts, and go home calmly. Though they had less education, people back then had good manners and respect.

Today, we have a society that claims to be educated and advanced in technology. People say they are socially aware, but their actions show otherwise. Even at an event to hear a movie star speak, they behave without manners, discipline, or responsibility. This is sad.

Recently, a terrible crowd accident happened. Thousands came to hear a film star, but they lost control, got caught in the crowd’s chaos, and lives were lost.

This wasn’t just an accident, it shows that even an educated society can lack good behavior.

The celebrity also acted irresponsibly. They stirred up people’s emotions and let fans treat them like a god, but failed to control the situation. A responsible person should guide their fans to behave well, but we see the opposite today.

It’s worrying that today’s educated and aware generation is less disciplined than the people of Periyar, Anna, and Kalaignar’s time.

Progress isn’t just about education, it’s also about good manners, morals, and responsibility. This incident teaches us a tough lesson about these values.

Guilty Pleasures

Everyone has a guilty pleasure. It is something we enjoy but do not always admit proudly. It could be watching silly videos late at night or eating junk food on a diet day or listening to old songs we pretend not to like. These small habits may not look productive but they make us feel good.

Guilty pleasures give our mind a break from daily stress. Life is full of rules pressure and expectations. In between all that these little joys help us relax and feel normal. They remind us that it is okay to enjoy life without a reason.

Of course too much of anything is not good. But enjoying something harmless once in a while is not a crime. Guilty pleasures remind us that we do not have to be perfect all the time. Sometimes choosing joy is more important than being right.
