Rohtang Pass - Himachal Pradesh, India

Rohtang Pass, located at an altitude of 3,978 meters (13,050 feet), is a high mountain pass in Himachal Pradesh that connects the Kullu Valley with Lahaul and Spiti valleys. Just 51 km from Manali, it is a gateway to the stark landscapes of Lahaul and offers breathtaking views of glaciers, snow-covered peaks, and mountain streams. Popular for snow activities like skiing, snow biking, and sledding (especially in summer), Rohtang is a hotspot for both adventure seekers and nature lovers. Due to heavy snowfall, the pass is open only from May to November and requires a travel permit.
