Hatshepsut was one of ancient Egypt’s few female pharaohs, ruling during the 18th dynasty (around 1479–1458 BC). Known for her prosperous reign, she expanded trade, undertook grand building projects, and often portrayed herself as a male king to legitimize her rule. Her temple remains a lasting symbol of her power and innovative leadership.
