Thangalaan (2024) Movie Review:

Story is set in the 18th century where Thangalaan (Vikram) and his wife Gangamma (Parvathy) live in the north arcot region who are part of tribal community. One day, the land of Thangalaan is grabbed by zamindar (Muthukumar) in deceiving manner and his family become slave to zamindar. To change their life style and for their community's benefit, Thangalaan and few more agree to go with british officer Clement (Daniel) to find the gold from the region which was guarded by sorceress Aarathi (Malavika Mohanan). What happens further, is rest of the story.

Positives: Fantasy mixed story, Actors performance, Screen presence of Chiyaan Vikram and Malavika Mohanan, BGM, Cinematography.

Drawbacks: Less engaging moments, Slow narration, Few dialogues are unable to understand due to the slang, Songs.

Verdict: Try watching as a time pass after released in OTT.
