An Indian girl, P.U. Chitra, a girl from a small village Mundur, Palakkad, Kerala This incredible athlete has shocked the world by finishing with gold in 1500mtrs in Asian Athletics Championship 2017 The Chinese or Japanese were the favourites to win. She was not a favorite. Nobody talked about her. The commentator did not even mention her name till about 2m 30s into the race. The japanese were busy tackling the chinese from moving ahead at that time chitra was forced to take a lead from the outer lane. Sorry state of affairs was that there was no one to celebrate her victory at the end point from the Indian contigent. Chitra you shocked the Chinese & Japanese. Her performance has made us very proud. She is now called as "Queen of Asia in the Mile". We came to know about this superlative performance from another group, this video is so thrilling that it needs to be shared to boost the moral of Indian atheletes & Children.
