We all want to live a long life and try to do everything possible to maintain our well-being. But what does it mean to be healthy? It usually includes eating a balanced diet, being active and having a normal body weight. Well, all these things are very important, but today we want to pay attention to another part of wellness that is crucial for every woman. I am talking about pelvic health.
We usually don’t think a lot about our pelvic floor, although the problems with this part of our body can be very serious.
We use the term pelvic floor to describe the tissues and muscles supporting the organs of our pelvic region. Sometimes it is truly hard to distinguish between something we need to complain about and something that is only our particularity.
How can we understand what is normal or not with our pelvic health? Let’s learn some symptoms which show that something is wrong:
*You experience a little urine leakage when you laugh really hard or cough;
*If you have a feeling of fullness or heaviness in your lower abdomen, sometimes it seems to be just
bloating, but this condition doesn’t change for the better;
*You struggle with pain in your pelvic region for more than six months;
if you feel a protrusion while wiping;
*You routinely have a feeling that you need rush to the restroom immediately otherwise it will be a
disaster.
Our body is so complex that in many cases it is difficult to understand when something goes wrong. The most important rule is if something seems to be not normal, visit your doctor to get a proper consultation.
