Follow This Simple Tips And He Will Have An Ideal Posture

In this article we will review the methods of fixing the spinal curvature. Most often it concerns cases when a person has the first degree of scoliosis. More severe deformations should be treated by doctors. Self-medication of second, third and fourth degree of scoliosis can lead to irreversible and terrible consequences.

The level of deformation can be identified with the help of an X-ray. Nevertheless, you can determine whether you have a problem and need to go to the doctor at home.

In order to do it, please let your child stand with his back to you. Then, do the following:

- Pay attention to shoulders, especially if one of them is higher.

- Draw a line under the shoulder blades. If the line is not straight, it means that there is a problem.

- Pay attention to the waist. The waist line should not be shorter on the one side than of the other.

- Look at buttocks. They should also be on the same level.

- Take a look at spinal column. There is a problem if it looks like the letter C or S.

Now, let your child stand facing you. Pay attention to nipples. They should be located on one straight line

If spinal column is in the form of letter C, it means that you probably have the first or the second degree of scoliosis. The letter S means the third or fourth level of deformation.

We will review ways of preventing scoliosis. It is worth mentioning that the first degree of scoliosis is not a verdict yet.

At first, let’s consider the psychological aspect. Parents should communicate with their children and explain how important it is to have the proper posture. You can show them how they will look if they don’t walk straight. For example, use a mirror to show the difference. Also, you can show pictures from the Internet of people who suffer from severe deformations. Or, you can show photos of celebrities and child’s favorite character’s, who take care of their posture. This method works really well, especially with teens.

Also, you can ask your child stand with his back to the wall in that way so that the whole body touches the back. He\she should not change position, make two steps forward, and stand like that for 2 minutes. It can be repeated 3–4 times a day.

But what if a child is not listening to his parents? In this case, you can take him to special classes, where muscles of the spine will be strengthened. Such sports as swimming, ballroom dancing, yoga, figure skating, skiing, volleyball, basketball are very effective. Try doing gymnastics with your child every morning. Don’t hesitate to install the horizontal bar in your house, so the child can use it to stretch the spine and relieve the tension of spinal column.

Don’t forget to do some simple exercises:

- Lie down with your belly on the floor. Then, raise your arms and legs simultaneously and hold for 10 seconds. Repeat it five times in the morning and in the evening.

- Stay in the same position. Raise the shoulders and the head and hold for 15 seconds, then repeat it five times.

- Crawl on the floor pushing body and legs for 10 seconds. Also, repeat it at least five times.

- Regular squats can help support the muscular framework of the spine. Do ten squats a minute, then repeat 3–4 times.

In case you have been diagnosed by a doctor with a scoliotic posture or first-degree scoliosis, you need to find a good masseuse. Good massage strengthens the spine muscles and improves health in general.

Do not forget to make your children beautiful and healthy !
