Mandy Harvey lost her hearing when she was 18 years old due to a connective tissue disease that deteriorated her nerves.

Despite the setback, she didn’t give up singing—something that she started doing at the age of 4. Working her way around the hearing loss, Mandy currently relies on muscle memory and visual tuners to help her with her singing. She also pays attention to floor vibrations to guide her with the tempo.

Mandy is a living proof that you should never give up on your dream. Go after it no matter how unattainable others think it is.
