In Gupta Empire, Chaturanga was played for entertainment which later resulted in Chess.

Decimal, Zero, Pythagorus Theorem, Value of Pi and Quadratic Equation



Decimal number system is the oldest known number system which is known to be originated during 1-6th century in India. Pythagoras theorem was discovered by Budhayan who also discovered the value of pi. And during 7th century Bramhagupta discovered quadratic equation.
