Coriander is one of the most consumed spices in the Indian spice rack.
Any part of this super plant can be eaten; however, it is mostly the leaves and seeds that add to the flavor of a dish. Apart from its sweet and taste and appetizing aroma, there are many health benefits of this humble leaf.
Several health benefits of the coriander.
It is a powerful antioxidant
This plant is a powerful source of antioxidants. It is high in vitamin content, proteins and organic acids which can help your body to fight against cellular damage. Cellular damage is the common pathway for a variety of diseases.
Healthy digestion
Linalool and geranyl acetate are two very powerful antioxidants found in coriander seeds. These essential oils can help in the production of digestive enzymes and juices that will soothe your digestion and stomach. If you suffer from bloating, nausea, indigestion, try some coriander tea or include coriander seeds into your diet.
Helpful with irregular menstrual
If you are suffering from irregular menstrual cycle or with a heavy flow, then coriander seeds are great in restoring the balance. Boil the whole coriander seeds a few days before your menstrual cycle and drink the water. Eating the leaf regularly also helps in solving this issue.

1.Place 1 tablespoon of coriander seed in a cup.
2. Fill the cup with boiling water.
3. Leave the mixture for 5 minutes.
4. Using a strainer, pour the mixture into another cup.
5. Your coriander tea is ready! Make sure to drink it 2-3 times a day.
