Honduras classifies as the most dangerous country on earth, mainly due to its illegal drug trade, which contributes to a homicide rate of about 90.4 per 100,000 population.

The world's highest place is Mount Everest in Nepal. It has a height of 29,029 ft. It takes around 2 months to reach its summit and Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay were the first two people to have succeeded back in 1953.

The Dead Sea is the lowest place on Earth, situated more than 400m below sea level. This sea is found on the borders of Israel, the West Bank, and Jordan.

With a population of around 157 million, Bangladesh is the most densely populated country on Earth. It has 1,067 people per square kilometer!

Mongolia is classified as the least densely populated country in the world, and has 'only' 2.8 million people occupying its 1.56 million km² of land. This means there's just 1.7 people living per square kilometer.

The driest place on Earth has to be the South America's Atacama desert, when excluding polar regions. The average rainfall here is only 15mm annually.

Dasht-e Lut or the Lut Desert in Iran is the hottest place in the world, spanning 51,000km². Just to put you in the picture, it has hit a temperature record of 70.7 °C (159 °F), and it's so hot that temperatures have to be measured from space.

The coldest place on Earth is, of course, Antarctica. Here, the temperature ranges between -10 °C (on coastal areas) and -60 °C (at higher inland areas).

The Indonesian Javan Rhino is the most endangered species in the world, and is expected to last for just another 30-40 years. They used to populate quite a large stretch of South-East Asia, but now, sadly, there's less than 60 remaining.

Although this is very broad, research suggests that the many species of ants, when combined, add up to an estimated 100 trillion in population. They can be found all over the world except for Greenland, Iceland and Antarctica.
