Beautiful Paintings by American Painter "Jeffrey R. Watts"
Jeffrey R. Watts is an American Painter and a Southern California Native. His father was an artist, so Watts had an early aptitude for the visual arts while growing up in San Diego. As a teenager he was more inclined towards competitive sports but later he had an injury which cut short his sports career. He then turned his focus from sports to arts and enrolled at the Californian Art Institute in Calabasas. He later became an art illustrator in movie industry. But he had a dream to become an easel Painter and came back to San Diego and started a small life drawing and painting studio there. His works have been compared to that of Nicolai Fechin. Jeff’s oil paintings have won numerous awards including Second place landscape category and first place portrait category from artist magazine. His works have been featured in Drawing and Workshop magazines, American Art Collector, Western Art Collector etc.
His paintings are so beautiful and speak for themselves. He has a distinctive style of painting which can be seen in the following works by him, hope you like and enjoy having a look at them:
