8. Marrakech

Marrakech originates from the Berber language and means "Land of God". But it is also the land of colourful markets and endless souks with shops and stalls with different kind of products, from clothes to spices, for most of which you have to bargain for. This is the tradition; the price goes up and down, depending on your ability to negotiate. The vibrant Djemaa El-Fna square and the adjacent souks are filled with exotic scents offer traditional Moroccan items - argan oil, clothes, handbags, lanterns, beauty treatment and others. The fascinating shopping tour will surely make your head dizzy, as life on these overcrowded streets is so vibrant, one could think it is some kind of a theatre play. Bargaining is the name of the game, but actually its just one of the games. There is so much more in the souks that its hard to describe. Even if you are not a shopping maniac, you should take a visit to this place. It is worth visiting for sure.
