2. Italy
We have to admit it is hard to think of someone from our circle of friends, who doesn't like pizza or spaghetti. This is the magic of Italian food - it is so good, it has bewitched the whole world. What is really special about it is the fact it combines rich blend of regional flavours, immense choice of seasonal ingredients and all the health benefits of Mediterranean diet. Italian cuisine relies on fresh and natural ingredients, cooked on spot, and delightful combination of vegetables, sea food, meat, fish, olive oil and grains. Another distinctive characteristic of Italian cooking is that every single town has individual way of making local type of bread, sausage, special kinds of cheese and wine. Multiplicity of Italian recipes is reflected in the cooking style fragmentation into different divisions: pizza is mostly popular in Naples, tortellini originate in Bologna and risotto is typical for Milan. No matter which region will you choose to visit, it is guaranteed that you'll experience the full palette of incredible Mediterranean flavours that only Italy may offer.

4. Turkey
Being a refinement and a fusion of Balkan, Middle Eastern and Central Asian cuisines, the Turkish cuisine comes to serve you a rich plate of various dishes that will leave you bewildered and deeply impressed. What Turkey is most famous for is chiefly: the Turkish coffee, Turkish tee and Turkish desserts. But being a refined product of many centuries of wide experience, Turkish cuisine has evolved into fine quality culinary creation. One of the most emblematic Turkish meals is "Pilaf" - made of rice or bulgur (cracked wheat). Another outstanding traditional dish is "Doner kebab", a roll of lamb stuck on a vertical skewer that spins in parallel with a glowed grill. "Börek" is also popular Turkish food, which is made of flaky pastry, stuffed with potatoes, meat or cheese. However, the pearl of Turkish cuisine remains its sweet delectations. Don't miss the chance to try some traditional milk-based and pastry-based deserts or deserts containing fruits and vegetables, such as: "Lokma", "Kadayif", "Baklava", "Ashure", "Halva", "Sutlac" and "Kabak tatlisi".

6. India
Curry is the emblem and the synonymous of Indian food, as curry powder is one of the key ingredients and most commonly used ingredient. But India has a lot more to offer in regards to cooking. Fish, meat, vegetables, exotic fruits and spices such as: paprika, cardamom, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves combine to produce first-class culinary achievements. India's diverse regions boast various authentic cuisines that differ regarding the geographical locations and local cultures. Some of the most distinctive Indian dishes are: Pesarattu (popular Andhra dish), Panta Ilish (characteristic for the Assamese cuisine), Palak paneer (traditional for the cuisine of Bihar), Pork Vindaloo and Pomfret fried fish (typical Goan delicacies). Eating habits are also diverse according to the geographical region. For example South Indians prefer dosas and idlis, accomplished by chutneys; people from western India - milk and dhokla, and people from north India like better vegetable dish, roti and parathas, accompanied by curd and achar (pickles).

7. Spain
Non-pretentious and honest, loyal to the specialties typical for its regions, the Spanish cuisine is widely known for its pastry and bakery good and for its fine elegance. In addition to the national dish - the cocido, other cherished examples of traditional Spanish meals and beverages are: paella, Iberian ham, stews, migas, jamon serrano, sangria and sherry. It is noteworthy that Spanish wine has gained worldwide respect, as well as the Spanish rich cheese varieties. Spanish cheeses are rich in taste and made of goat, sheep, cow and mixed milk. Some of the most distinguished types of cheese are: manchego, tetilla and Cabrales (all with specific and very peculiar flavour). The two main ingredients of the Spanish food are, however, garlic and olive oil. There are also various dishes based on beans (green beans, chickpeas and lentils). Typical representatives of the Spanish cuisine are also soups and bread in numerous forms and variations depending on the different region. Sweet delights, such as churros, flan, rice pudding, custard, torrijas and madeleines are also part of the numerous culinary temptations Spain is famous for.

8. Thailand
What is idiosyncratic about the Thai cuisine is the fact it mixes some typical elements of several Southeast Asian traditions and Thai cooking, in this line of thoughts, places strong emphasis on lightly prepared dishes with piquant aromatic components. As with meals thorough that Asian region, Thai meal is built around rice (the Northern Thai people eat sticky or short-grain rice, while the Southern consume long-grain rice). The spiciness if Thai food is widely popular. As with other Asian countries, to Thai chef variety, balance and detail are of great significance. Thai cuisine is famous exactly for this balance of three to four basic taste senses in each dish or the overall meal: salty, sweet, sour, sometimes could be even bitter. In case you wonder where this distinct flavour of Thai cooking comes from, it is from the ingrained various produce and spices: black pepper, basil, coconut milk, palm sugar, green onions, tamarind, cumin, shallots, lemon grass, turmeric, etc.

9. Australia
Australian cuisine has the most diverse quality, range, and inventiveness than many other worldwide popular cuisines. Australia is very popular for its fresh ingredients, such as: lamb, beef, seafood, local fruits and of course, its world class cheeses. Similar to France and Italy, Australia could be also divided into separate regions that have their own eminence in regard to a particular produce, for example: Tasmanian salmon, Bowen mangoes, Coffin Bay scallops, King Island cream, Sydney rock oysters and Illabo milk-fed lamb. Speaking of typical Australian food, we couldn't miss the native cuisine, called "bush tucker", which involves billy tea, damper (water and flour cooked bread), and local meat of local animals. The cultural metropolis certainly boasts some gastronomic goodness represented by its various culinary masterpieces: from pastries and cupcakes on vintage crockery to seared kangaroo fillet with wilted beetroot. During those recent decades the culinary art of Australia has luxuriated to offer you nowadays a valuable and genuine blend of delicatessen to enjoy.

10. Morocco
Being at the crossroad of many civilizations, the Moroccan cuisine is a complex mixture of Moorish, French, Arab, Middle Eastern, Iberian, Berber, Mediterranean African and Jewish influences. It has developed and flourished to become the culinary star of North Africa. The usage of fruits - fresh and dried - is enhanced in Moroccan cooking. Raisins, apricots, dates and figs are most commonly used. Pigeon and chicken dishes are flavoured with a specific salt-lemon juice mixture to bring once again unique face to the meal. Pistachios, almonds and pine nuts, on the other hand are implemented in wide range of exotic Moroccan meals. Sweets dense and rich confections of fruit perfumes, almond and cinnamon, also come to show how incredible masters and aesthetic the Moroccan cooks are. Spices, such as: coriander, saffron paprika, parsley and ginger, are extensively used in the traditional food preparation.
