We all want to cut loose in a place we wont be judged, where the laws are quite a bit more flexible than what we are used to, who doesnt want to do something a little taboo or "out of bounds”? We all do it is human nature to sample or at least dip our hands into the cookie jar. This top ten list will let you know about the out of the normal, a little more flexible and taboo cities of the world, where you can get a taste of the dark side as any Jedi fan might say. This list will let you know the top 10 sin cities on earth, where walking down the street with a buzz is not so uncommon and smoking a little pot in a café while munching on some special brownies is part of everyday life. You may or may not have known about these cities of the world and you may never visit these sin cities but after reading this article you will know where they are.


1. Amsterdam, The Netherlands   



The Netherlands whole reputation lies in its one city for most foreigners as it is one of the most well-known "sin” cities in the world, the city of Amsterdam. This is mainly due to the light drug laws on the distribution of marijuana; it is not uncommon that some of the marijuana cafes can serve out up to 5 kilos or more a day of the euphoria inducing drug. Even though Tijuana, Mexico is the countrys financial and economic epicenter and it is also the countrys capital of sin. The city has been in existence since before the Europeans first arrived in the early 1500s but the historical evidence has been long lost. Gambling and drinking are the main attractions and this was actually what brought US nationals to the areas during the years of the prohibition and even a little earlier than that but it is now a continuing attraction of tourists to the area. The city like Las Vegas never sleeps as clubs, casinos and bars never close. The biggest casino in the city opened in 1928 and even has its own private airport, during its first years the casino attracted in many gangsters and Hollywood stars looking to lounge and play the table. New Orleans is definitely one of the top ten sin cities in the world and it has well-earned that reputation, it is one of the only places in the United States that you can go to a drive through alcoholic beverage distributor although drinking and driving is not legal the city allows citizens to buy alcoholic drinks from a drive through window, the most common beverage sold is daiquiris. The aspect that has put New Orleans on the map is the Mardi Gras celebration that takes place each year in February and bring in hundreds of thousands of visitors to the city looking to take part in the celebration on bourbon street where it is basically adults only. The going exchange is Mardi Gras beads for a flash, whether man or woman nudity and drunkenness is rampant during the Mardi Gras celebration on bourbon street. With 6.3 million people in its population it is hard not to be a place of sin, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is the second largest city in the country and is home to the world famous Rio Carnival, which takes place annually and draws in the masses from throughout the world. During the festival the streets are packed and floats ride done the street with gorgeous Brazilian in bikinis but more commonly topless.
