10. Black Forest, Germany

Maybe Germanys Black Forest seems like a scary place but really the name refers to the tree covered mountain range in the Southwestern end of Germany. The forest is almost untouched and traveling amidst the giant trees is the main pastime. The forest actually came about its name because of its thick growth of conifers that block out the sunlight from reaching the ground of the forest. The lack of sunlight touching the earth inside the forest makes it a cool place compared to the surrounding area. Within the forest there are many small towns and villages sparsely located throughout, when traveling to the villages and towns travelers can find lots of neat crafts and wooden sculptures that reflect the cultures unique character. Within the wooded areas, its easy to stumble upon granite and sandstone rocks that protrude from the ground and high into the air. This is mainly due to the fact that the black forest sits on the continental divide.

From interesting to relaxing these June destinations can fulfill the hearts desire for a great vacation trip and they are the kind of places that leave a long lasting impression, even when time wasnt spent on taking pictures. So whether it is beaches in an exotic location among a foreign culture or a densely wooded forest that has hidden towns and villages throughout, there is always something exciting to find in these destinations. For the nature lover and adventurer the place to be is the Okavango Delta, where the African wildlife runs free and so abundant that theres no way to avoid photo polite animals. Just be safe if you travel to the Delta and remember that it is a wild adventure.
