4. Arc de Triomphe
 


The famous Arc de Triomphe is definitely a place that you should include in your travel list when visiting Paris. Located at the junction of 12 main avenues, the Arc de Triomphe is the most remarkable sight to witness at the western section of the Champs-Elysees. 10. Catacombs of Paris
 


The Catacombs of Paris are located only a few minutes south of the Jardin du Luxembourg. The Catacombs are actually an underground cemetery. A little strange as a tourist attraction, but even this ossuary is another interesting place to visit in Paris. The Catacombs present a small network of underground tunnels, as well as an ossuary with the remains of millions of people. Piles of bones are part of the walls of the Catacombs and certainly, this is not a sight for everyone.
