2. Cathedral of St Basil
Right next of the Kremlin is situated the picturesque Cathedral of St. Basil, which is most famous for its huge multi-coloured domes. Built of red bricks, this church is the most remarkable sight on the Red Square in Moscow and is one of the tallest buildings as well. The construction features eight churches that surround a core in a compact shape and create another symbolic landmark of Russia. During a trip to the Red Square, make sure to have a solid memory card on your camera, because the colours of the Cathedral of St. Basil will tempt you to take countless pictures. 3. Bolshoi Theatre
Only a short walk distance from the Red Square is situated another famous landmark to visit - the building of the Bolshoi Theatre. Built at the end of 18th century, the large building of this historic theater was several times renovated and rebuilt, to provide some of the well distinctive iconic buildings in central Moscow. The neoclassical facade includes eight huge columns, dominated by the famous quadriga sculpture. The whole exterior is fulfilled with numerous ornaments and details, while the interior is even more impressive. 4. Kolomenskoye Estate Museum
Kolomenskoye Park is situated away from the city center of Moscow, but is definitely a place that you can`t miss. This is a huge area along the shore of the Moskva River, where the green environment of trees and meadows is dotted by a number of royal estates and other facilities. One of the most significant buildings is a stone church, which has a unique architectural design. Yes, you will look up and down exceeding for the best spot for taking a picture, but the green park within the area is a perfect choice for relaxation and captivation. 5. Stalin's Seven Sisters
The Stalin's Seven Sisters is a whole complex of skyscrapers and buildings, which are named after their typical Stalinist architectural style. Built in the mid-20th century, the seven buildings also include notes of Russian Baroque style and Gothic elements, and are spread over the entire area of central Moscow. Some of the most impressive skyscrapers are the Hotel Ukraina, the Hotel Leningradskaya and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but if you have enough free time, make sure to visit all of the Stalin's Seven Sisters. 6. Tretyakov Gallery
During a trip to The Kremlin and the Red Square, make sure to enjoy a relaxing walk on the opposite shore of the Moskva River. 7. Arbat Street
Only a few streets distance from the Kremlin and the Red Square is situated another incredible sight to visit. 8. Gorky Park
What a charming choice to spend the afternoon in the park with the family? 9. Kuskovo Estate
When it was built in 18th century, Kuskovo palace was one of the most beautiful summer estates near the city.
