Most times we just throw off the lemon peel, but here are some benefits that we could get from the lemon peel:

1)Lemon Olive Oil:
Zest some of the peel, freeze it and use it later, add one cup of olive oil for a nice lemon flavour. Keep it for two weeks and then start using it.

2)Lemon Ice Cubes:
You could be creative in serving your drinks now, by adding lemon ice cubes. Just add some lemon zest to your ice cubes and allow it to melt in your drink. Enjoyyy the taste of it!!(slurp)

3)Skin Brightning Scrub:
 You could use lemon peel to brighten your skin and make it smoother.

4)To get rid of ants:
Lemon peels can be a great ant repellent, add some peel to the sugar jar and you can get the ants away.
