3. Djemaa el Fna
Marrakech is one of the largest cities in Morocco and it offers another huge portion of places that you should include in your trip list. Such a place is Djemaa el Fna, which is situated in the Old City. Djemaa el Fna is the major square in Marrakech and it is often overcrowded. Except for its extensive markets, this square is also a magical place to enjoy the urban atmosphere of the city, especially at sunset, when the night lights are still highlighted by the golden sun light. The square is also surrounded by a number of cafes, restaurants and other eateries, which provide some really captivating vistas of the bustling square. 4. Ait Benhaddou
Ait Benhaddou is situated about an hour's drive east from Marrakech and it was once a major fortified city along the route to Sahara desert. Presently, Ait Benhaddou still keeps a lot of secrets from its historical defensive charm and it consists of a number of houses that create the well-distinctive outlook of the city, which is also known as "Ksar". The pale orange and reddish hues of these houses are really captivating, especially at sunset when they are lit by the golden sun's rays. However, they are almost uninhabited, while a river naturally separates the "Ksar" from the modern urban area. There, you can find a couple of lodgings and important amenities, while perhaps the greatest place for taking photographs is at the foot of the hill, from where the old facades of the fortified houses create an unsurpassed feeling of majesty and power.

5. Volubilis
Also in northern Morocco and only a few dozens of kilometers west from Fes you can come across another ancient city to explore. This time, it comes to the Roman city of Volubilis, which was a thriving urban area a couple of centuries BC. Presently, Volubilis is a major archaeological site, where you can explore the ruins of a wide variety of buildings and constructions. Stone remains of a temple, basilica, numerous houses, as well as tall columns, arches and other artifacts reveal in a quite magnificent way the prosperity of Volubilis in that bygone era. Plus, this ancient Roman town is scenically located on a hill that overlooks a huge portion of the horizon. Tall mountains, colourful hills, fields and green forests are only a few examples of the striking vistas.

6. Todra Gorge
Todra Gorge is located in northeastern Morocco and right next to the village of Tinghir. There, you will be impressed by the majestic power of nature and, more exactly, the waters of a river that formed a giant canyon throughout their path. A short impromptu trip is enough to feel this majesty at its maximums, because the colours of the canyon are inspiring. From reddish, to orange and pale yellow - these colours create a magical accent to the clear blue sky and a couple of green palm trees. But why Todra Gorge is so inspiring and majestic? Just take a look at its proportions: the gorge is about 10 meters in width at the foot, while the rocks are almost vertical and they soar into the sky with an elevation of over 150 meters. And this gorgeous gorge has a length of nearly a half kilometer.

8. Draa Valley
Draa Valley is something really beautiful and quite inspiring. This is the valley of the longest river in Morocco - Draa River, which empties into the ocean coast in the very center of the Morocco's coastline. This valley is located just above the Western Sahara region, while it is also a huge slice of a natural paradise. Draa Valley is even considered as a long oasis, because it is dotted by endless green palm tree fields, as well as couple of tiny villages and communities. The shores of the river also offer amazing vistas of the unsurpassed charm of the Sahara desert, thanks to a number of giant sand dunes and dusty trails. They are these trails, which are tempting magnets for adventures, while the best way to enjoy them is during an off-road ride or safari.

10. Erg Chebbi Dunes
Erg Chebbi Dunes are situated within the easternmost portion of northern Morocco and they deliver unique settings to feel the mystery and beauty of Sahara desert.
