Ingredients
Mullangi ( radish ) - 1/2 kilo
Onion ( big ) - 1
Potato - 1
Ginger - a small piece
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Green chilli - 2
Coriander leaves - a few
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - as needed
Oil - as needed
Method
1. Peel skin of mullangi, cook, mash and set aside.
2. Cook potato, peel skin, mash and set aside.
3. Cut ginger, green chilli, onion finely.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan.
5. Add mustard, urad dal and when mustard splutters, add green chilli, ginger, onion, turmeric powder and fry till onion turns golden.
6. Add mullangi, potato, garam masala powder, salt and cook for a few minutes.
7. Sprinkle coriander leaves and switch off the stove.
