We all experience back pain from time to time. It may result from accidents, injuries or bad posture. These six exercises will help you relieve back pain. But if your pain gets worse when you do them, stop and contact your doctor.


1. Press up/Sphinx Position

Lie on your stomach and start slowly raising only your upper body. Your forearms must stay firmly on the ground. As you rise up into the sphinx position, try to make an arch in your lower back. Don’t rise up too high if you experience any discomfort. Remain in the position for ten seconds and repeat.

2. The Cat and Dog




3. Knee to Chest

Lie flat on your back with your legs together. Put your hands under your right knee and pull it toward your chest. Hold for 30 seconds, then return to the start position and repeat with your left leg. Repeat 10 times with each leg


4. Body Flexion




Start with sitting on your knees, your upper body on your upper legs, arms outstretched, palms on the ground. Bend forward, with your head off the ground. Hold for 30 seconds, repeat.

5. Advanced Reach

Once you start doing this one, you’ll realize it’s called advanced for a reason. Starting on all fours, stretch your left arm forward and your right leg backward at the same time. Hold for ten seconds, go back to the start position and repeat with your right arm and left leg. Repeat the move ten times.

6. Hyperextension
