4 - Soya chunks
2 cups - Browned onions
3 tsp - Ginger-garlic paste
1 cup - Tomato paste
2 tbsp - Coriander powder
1 tsp - Roasted cumin powder
½ tsp - Red chilli powder
Fresh coriander leaves, for garnishing
1 cup - Oil
1 tsp - Haldi powder
Salt to taste

How To Make Soya Masaledar:

1. Place the soya chunks in a pan filled with hot, salted water.
2. Let them sit in the water for 10 minutes. Then, drain the water and set the soya chunks aside.
3. Heat half cup of oil in a frying pan before frying the soya chunks till golden brown.
4. Mix in the browned onions, spices and pastes, and stir-fry on low heat for about 5 to 7 minutes.
5. While mixing the ingredients together, add the remaining half cup of oil a little bit at a time.
6. To tenderise the soya chunks, add 3 to 4 tablespoons of water and cover the pan with a lid.
7. Let simmer until the gravy reduces to a thick consistency.
8. Garnish with coriander and serve.
