School is in session again, which means sports practice is back again. Your children's school shoes are going to end up dirty before the end of the week, but they don't have a second pair to wear while you wash them.

Here's a trick you can try on their school shoes to make it stay white for a longer time:

Ingredients

1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 cup baking soda
Plastic glass or bowl
Toothbrush

Instructions

1. Mix the baking soda and vinegar into a bowl.
2. Use a toothbrush to rub the mixture on the shoe, focusing on the dirtier spots.
3. Leave the shoes with the mixture on for 30 minutes, then rinse.
4. Dry the shoes.
