'Jackson Durai’ audio review

Cast: Sathyaraj, Sibiraj, Karnakaran, Rajendran
Music: Siddharth Vipin
Direction: Dharani Dharan
Motor Bike
Singers: Antony Dasan
Cracks us up! The composer makes this tune catchy enough to make this track standout from the usual Antony Dasan numbers. ‘Motor Bike’ is perfectly wacky in its entirety. Be it the intriguingly funny lyrics, Antony Dasan’s quirky rendition and the mild arrangements. The lyrics definitely add a sense of extra edge to the track with its humor. Has to be the face of the album!
There is also a remix version of the same track which has an added rap portion and upped tempo like typical remix tracks.
Yethetho
Singers: Karthik, Chinmayi
A mainstream duet in the middle of an unorthodox album! ‘Yethetho’ is easy on the ears and banks on the experience of its lead singers Karthik and Chinmayi. The tune which focuses more on getting the rhythm right works as a likeable duet.
Jackson Durai
Singers: Gana Bala
The title track sounds more like an ode to Sathyaraj and succeeds in being one. Iconic dialogues from ‘Amaidhipadai’ are scattered throughout the song. Gaana Bala takes care of the main rendition of the tune which is foot tapping and funny at the same time. The tune is simple and is entertaining. Give it a listen!
On the whole, ‘Jackson Durai’ is a surprisingly entertaining album that has some quirky tunes which are pretty fresh. There aren't many songs in the album as it sticks to the theme of the movie and the album has definitely piqued our interest in looking forward for the movie.
