I’m sure when you hear the term “homely girls”, most of us imagine a sweet looking girl, traditional, temple-going, obedient, wife-material etc.

But do we really know what ‘Homely” really means?



According to the various online dictionaries we searched in the internet, it’s save to say that homely means:

1. Not beautiful

2. Unattractive

3. Lack in physical attractiveness

4. Not pretty / handsome

5. Not having elegance

6. OUTdated



So boys, next time when you refer a girl as a homely girl, it means you have a bad taste!

And girls, “homely girl” is not a compliment anymore!
