8. Tierra del Fuego, Argentina
Tierra del Fuego is an archipelago in the southernmost province of Argentina, consisting of a main island Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego divided between Chile and Argentina. The finest trout fishing in the world takes place in the area especially in Rio Grande River (the largest river on the island) and San Pablo River where Sea Run Brown Trout sometimes exceeds 9 kg. Rio Grande is medium-sized river, about 80 miles long, full of huge trout. A research shows that the trout in Tierra del Fuegos Rio Grande is about 17% heavier than other sea trout of the same length. It is due to the nutritious marine environment of the adjacent Antarctic. There are many fly fishing lodges and ranches along the river as all of them adopted Catch and Release policy. All anglers should write down in their calendars that the fishing season on the Río Grande River runs from October through April.

10. Andaman Islands, India
This group of Indian Ocean archipelagic islands is ideal for big game sport fishing and saltwater angling. The best starting points for a fishing cruise are Port Blair, which serves as the entry point and the Capital of the Andaman islands, Havelock Island, 41 km away from Port Blair, and the 45 km long Ritchies Archipelago. A great way to enjoy the fishing experience is to take a charter to the island between the Middle Andaman and the Little Andaman Islands. These are great marlin and sailfish waters containing big amounts of nutrients. The most common billfish is the black marlin, which can be found near the drop-off areas close to the islands, especially near the 2 volcanic islands of Barren and Narcondam. The waters around the two volcanic islands also offer shark fishing action. There is also blue marlin (catch and release fishing), dogtooth tuna, and giant trevally. Besides that there is no commercial fishing along the reef systems. Andaman Islands are some of the most untouched and unexplored destinations in the world offering virgin fishing grounds as some areas of the islands are still protected, because they are inhabited by Native Indian tribes.
