One day, the nail asked the hammer:
— Why are you always the one who hits me?

The hammer replied calmly:
— I don’t do it to hurt you,
I do it to help you fulfill your purpose.

— But it hurts, — said the nail.

— I know, — answered the hammer —
but without that strike, you would never go into the wood,
you would never be firmly set,
you would never hold anything important.

The nail thought for a moment and asked again:
— Don’t you get tired of hitting?

— Of course I do, — said the hammer —
but it’s worth it when I know
that because of it, you are accomplishing your mission.

The nail fell silent…
then said with a gentle smile:
— Thank you for pushing me forward, even when it hurts.
Thank you for not leaving me halfway.

✨ Moral ✨

Sometimes life strikes us
not to break us,
but to place us exactly
where we are meant to be.

Because even pain,
when it has meaning,
is also a way to move forward.
