A balanced shape usually indicates that the fruit has developed well and is packed with juice inside. Irregular shapes can sometimes mean less flavor or uneven ripening.

⚖️ Pick the heavier ones
When two oranges are the same size, always go for the heavier one. Extra weight is a sign that it’s loaded with juice and will taste fresher and sweeter.

🌟 Check the skin
The peel should be firm, smooth, and have a vibrant color. This shows that the orange is ripe and full of flavor. Avoid fruit with wrinkled or dull skin, as it may be old or dry.

🚫 Avoid light or spongy fruit
If the orange feels too light for its size or slightly spongy when pressed, it’s likely lacking juice inside and won’t taste as good.
