Kedarnath is one of the holiest Hindu pilgrimage sites, located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India. Nestled in the majestic Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 3,583 meters, it is home to the revered Kedarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and scenic valleys, the temple is accessible via a steep 16 km trek from Gaurikund. Despite its remote location, Kedarnath draws thousands of devotees and trekkers each year for its spiritual significance and breathtaking beauty.
