We all hate stains, especially stubborn ones. You might find yourself feeling frustrated after you tried over and over to get some of them off your clothes with no success. Ink Stain:

If you work with pens, you might have experienced this at one time or the other. But there is an easy fix — hairspray.

You might find it hard to believe, but the alcohol in hairspray helps remove ink stain. Spray directly on the spot and leave for 30 seconds. Then clean it off with a damp towel. Remember to lightly dab so as not to spread the stain around even more.

Lipstick Stain:

Have you ever had to deal with a lipstick smudge stain on an outfit? Next time you are in this dilemma, be sure to act fast. Place the item on a paper towel with the stain facing down. Dab a dishwashing soap or any other pre-treater on the area and then, using another paper towel, press down the garment. Continue doing this and ensure you changed the paper towel underneath (the one touching the stain directly), so that you get all the dirt out. Afterwards, throw the garment in the washer.

Oil/Grease Stain:

Dab a toothbrush into your dishwashing liquid. Scrub the toothbrush on the stain in circular motions. When you have gotten most of the stains out, put the item in the washing machine, and it should come out completely free of grease.

Red Wine:

There is a simple way to deal with a red wine stain. Use a damp cloth to blot the stain. Stretch the fabric to make it taut, so that you can see the exact point where the stain is. You could pull the item over a bowl and use a rubber band to hold it in place.

Spray some salt on the stain, then pour boiling water about 8 inches over the garment to rinse off the salt. After, throw the itemn in washing machine. Do not put it in the dryer until the stain is completely gone.

Sweat Stains

Pit stains are one of the hazards of summer. But do not fret. They do not have to completely ruin all your clothes. First, mix one part vinegar with two parts warm water. Put your clothes in the mix and leave for 20 minutes.

Separately, mix a half cup of baking soda, one tablespoon of salt, and one tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide. Lay a towel on a surface and lay the stained item on the towel. Cover the spot with the paste mixture (baking soda, salt, and hydrogen peroxide) and leave for 20 minutes.

Then, wash as usual.
