Nearly all of us experience pain in knees from time to time, and this condition makes us not only give up our workout but affects our daily life in general. It is always a very good idea to consult with your doctor to find the cause especially if you have severe pain or our knee keeps getting worse. But sometimes pain in knees can be due to tightness in your legs and hips. In these cases, we can fix it.



Hip flexor stretch

Get down on one knee and place another foot in front of you. Then slowly start to lean forward. This will help to stretch your hip flexor. Try to tighten your butt for a better stretch. Raise the arm on the same side as your knee on the floor. This move will make your stretch even more effective. Switch the knees and repeat the exercise.



Glutes stretch

If your glutes are tightened, this also can cause pain in legs and back. This exercise will help to avoid tightness and relax your muscles. Lie on the floor on your back. Cross your right foot over your left quad and bend your left knee. Hold your left leg and slowly pull it toward your chest. Once you feel a stretch that is comfortable for you, hold there. Do the same with another leg.



Hamstring stretch

The hamstrings are very important, they are responsible for support our hips and hips, so it is crucial to keep them mobile and flexible. Stand on your right foot and place your left foot in front of you. Hinge at your hips and bend your right knee. Move as you are going to sit back a little. At the same time keep your left leg straight. You should feel a stretch in your straightened leg. Do the same with another leg.
