Lots of people are familiar with this nasty problem. Some of them have it, some of them know those who have it. And this seems like a never-ending circle. It’s hard to live with it, but it’s even harder to get rid of smelly feet. So here are 6 effective methods that will help you achieve your goal and tackle these nasty bacteria.
1. Salt water. Salt is said to reduce a number of bacteria that cause our feet to smell. So take a tub of warm water and dissolve 1/2 to 1 c kosher salt. Soak your feet in there for 2 minutes and repeat the procedure at least for two weeks.
2. Tea. It’s interesting that tea acid can close your pores and kill the bacteria on your feet. So, the recipe for this healing tea is the following. Just take 1 pint of water and 2 bags of tea, boil it for 15 minutes. Then, you will need to add 2 quarts of cold water in there and soak your feet in the liquid for 30 minutes. One week every day — it is how often you need to repeat doing the same.
3. Vinegar. One part of vinegar and two parts of water mix them together in a tub and soak your feet in the solution for 30 minutes every day for one week.
4. Socks. Buy socks made only of natural materials such as cotton because the nylon ones will only trap moisture around your feet. Also, it’s a good idea to change your socks during a day.
5. Powder. You can powder your feet with cornstarch, and it will be enough for your feet to absorb the moisture.
6. Spray. Lysol Disinfectant Spray is a good remedy against smelly feet as it contains ethanol and other effective ingredients. Apply the spray to your feet, socks and shoes. Put the socks into the shoes and leave it overnight.
Of course, before using any of these methods, you should consult your general practitioner to make sure you’ll not have any side effects.
