These Indian Inventions Made The World A Better Place

There are many things for which we idolise foreign countries being so advanced. But there are many things, for whose invention and discovery the sole credit goes to our very own India. Let's have a look at what they are.



Civilization

Decimal number system is the oldest known number system which is known to be originated during 1-6th century in India. Pythagoras theorem was discovered by Budhayan who also discovered the value of pi. And during 7th century Bramhagupta discovered quadratic equation.

The very demonstration of radio waves for communication was made by Sir Jagdish Chandra Bose in 1895, i.e. 2 years prior to Marconi who is assumed to be the inventor of Wireless technology.

This might come as a shock to you but after reading this if you tend to think that your whole childhood had been a lie then you may not be wrong. The world's first Aeroplane wasn't built by Wright Brothers but by an Indian, Shivkar Bapuji Talpade in 1895.
