Do Take Some Time To Read This Lovely Merdeka Poem
We found this poem written by Rueben Dudley and would like to share it with you guys:
M-ERDEKA! Aug 31, our national day.
A diverse people united as one, our way;
Let not greed, selfish pride
All our hopes, dreams divide;
Y-es, our watchword will ever be Integrity
S-ecure and strong, forward in shared prosperity;
I-n God we’ll always trust
A-ssured we’re free and just.
F-or always to uphold the weak and the needy
O-ur commitment firm and mutual in liberty;
R-emembering our past
E-ach new horizon vast;
V-anguard of abiding hope, a challenge for all
E-veryone their duty must fulfil or we fall;
R-eady and faithful we’ll always be to our call.
