Mark Zuckerberg, the 28-year-old CEO and co-founder of the social media giant, snagged the top spot this year. With a 99% approval rating, the world's favorite boss this year is Facebook’s chief executive Mark Zuckerberg, according to the online jobs and careers community Glassdoor.com. Over the past 12 months, Zuckerberg saw his approval rating climb a whopping 14 percentage points.

In the No. 2 spot are SAP’s chief executives Bill McDermott and Jim Hagemann Snabe. The co-CEOs earned an approval rating of 99%.

Dominic Barton of McKinsey & Company rounds out the top three. McKinsey employees talk favorably about the work and the culture fostered by Barton. “For example, employees speak highly about the exposure to interesting work and clients, and the opportunities for career advancement.”

Jim Turley, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ernst & Young got an approval rating of 96%
